Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Accounting (Tenure Track)

The Von Allmen School of Accountancy at the University of Kentucky is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level beginning Fall of 2025. Eligible candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field, or may be ABD with expected completion of their Ph.D. by August 2025. Candidates should have an active research program demonstrating capacity for high level research and have an excellent record of classroom instruction. Applicants should have an expectation to publish research in top journals such as TAR, JAR, CAR, AOS, RAST, JAE, or comparable outlets. While open to candidates across all research and teaching areas, a demonstrated interest or willingness in teaching financial accounting, data analytics, taxation, and/or graduate-level accounting coursework will be viewed favorably.
