    The Department of Management at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics seeks to fill one full-time, non-tenure eligible Lecturer position beginning August 1, 2025 in the area of entrepreneurship. This is a nine-month assignment to initially span two academic years and is renewable. The minimum academic requirements for this position are either a Ph.D. in management (or related field) or a master’s degree with 10 or more years of relevant industry experience. This lecturer position normally involves teaching four courses per semester at the undergrad and/or master’s level with additional opportunities to teach in our executive education programs. Teaching responsibilities include entrepreneurship courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Depending on a candidate’s experience and interests, the position may also involve other duties such as curriculum-building, program management, and/or coaching students.


    The Gatton College of Business and Economics values excellence teaching and offers an outstanding environment for our students and faculty members to succeed. In addition to the fast-growing undergraduate program, the Management Department also contributes courses to the College’s MBA programs, offers a Master of Science in Strategic Human Resource Management and Analytics, and has a strong doctoral program. The Department of Management is home to the LINKS Center for Social Network Analysis which attracts international researchers from a wide variety of disciplines.
