    Assistant Teaching Professor in Entrepreneurship


    The Management and Business Department at Skidmore College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track appointment in Entrepreneurship at the Assistant Teaching Professor rank beginning August 2026. This is a renewable appointment. All teaching is at the undergraduate level.


    Responsibilities:



    • Teach a normal load of 18 credits per academic year in entrepreneurship at both the introductory and advanced levels.

    • Non-teaching responsibilities as a full-time faculty member, such as advising students, serving on academic committees, and other duties consistent with the mission of the Department.


    Qualifications:


    Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: a) have a terminal degree (doctoral level) in Business Management or a related field, or b) have a Master level degree appropriate for the position and experience with managing startups and small businesses. Teaching experience at the college level is a plus but not required.  


     


    Salary range: $73,300 to $80,000.

    All bargaining unit members shall be covered by a collective bargaining agreement between Skidmore College and Services Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 200 United.
