Qualifications

This program teaches at sites in multiple states across five time zones and involves external stakeholders across the United States. Candidates must have a terminal degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, information systems, network engineering, date science/analytics or a related field as well as direct industry experience and/or related IT industry certificates within at least one of the learning paths if not multiple learning paths. The current MSSA Program teaches courses in three learning paths: Cloud Applications Development (C#), Cybersecurity Administration, and Server and Cloud. All learning paths contain Azure elements and additional learning paths may be added in the future.

Demonstrated experience in developing and teaching undergraduate or industry IT courses is a must. Candidates should also have a solid track record in managing complex and dynamic projects and programs in multidisciplinary environments; experience with intrapreneurial product and process development and evaluation in such projects is a plus.
