Assistant Professor In Strategic Management
The Department of Management & Business invites applications for a tenure‑track appointment in Strategic Management at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2026. We seek a colleague who can inspire undergraduates in both introductory and capstone strategy courses and who will sustain an active, productive research stream that advances knowledge in strategic management.
Responsibilities
Teaching
- Teach five undergraduate courses per academic year (Introductory Strategy, Capstone Strategy, and electives aligned with your expertise).
- Contribute to interdisciplinary offerings such as the First-Year Experience or relevant College programs.
Research
- Develop a coherent research stream and maintain a vigorous, ongoing research agenda that produces peer-reviewed publications in high-quality outlets.
Advising & Mentoring
- Advise and mentor a diverse population of undergraduates, including supervising independent research projects.
Service
- Participate actively in departmental, College, and professional service.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. (or ABD with completion by December 2026) in Strategy, Management, or a closely related field.
- Evidence of effective undergraduate teaching.
- A promising and clearly articulated research trajectory with the potential for sustained productivity.
- Commitment to inclusive pedagogy and to mentoring students from a variety of backgrounds.

Salary: $103,000 - $110,000
