Expertise: Professor Essila has more than 18 years of successful hands-on workplace and teaching experience in management including leadership, business strategies, operations research, operations management, management science, supply chain, logistics, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, including MFG Pro, and SAP ERP. Dr. Essila is a SAP ERP Certified Consultant-Business Processes Integration.\r\nIn addition to his teaching experience, Prof. Essila is the Vice President for Planning at the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) Midwest Region and Chair of the College of Business Strategic Planning Committee at NMU. Dr. Essila has a significant field expertise in business management, ranging from mid-sized businesses (Johnson Controls USA, PWV Inc., USA) to some of the world’s largest corporations, including Exxon-Mobil Oil and Gas, Perenco Oil and Gas, IBC, and Johnson Controls North America.
