IT/Business strategy, data strategy and process awareness will drive a decade of change and re-imagine the job design and future workplace requirements, it's processes and management . I see this as an opportunity to be grasped and wish to be part of the new dynamic.
With a background in industry and strategic IT I am currently a senior academic in the School of Management,Business Information Systems discipline and teach and research in object -oriented design and development, Governance, policy, innovation and IT strategy.
I consider myself an "industry professional" with an enterprise/business architects perspective on IT.
My research interests include Diffusion and Assimilation of Technologies, IT Strategy and Governance, Knowledge Management and Business Architecture.
Current technology trend require a transformation of business as IT acts as a catalyst for change.The effects of digitalization and digital transformation projects impact business sustainability and competitive advantage. Alignment of business and IT strategy needs to considered before undertaking of any transformation and business growth initiatives.
