International experience in research, teaching, policy reform, and macroeconomic analysis. Research focus on the influence of governance institutions, political risk, and international institutions-induced moral hazard on international capital flows and on financial crises, with special research interest in the Middle East and North Africa; and on FDI in the GCC countries. Teaching experience in macroeconomics, money and banking, international finance, global economy, economic development, feasibility studies, engineering economy, and corporate finance courses. Policy reform experience in the identification, design, implementation and monitoring of financial sector policy reform measures and the complementary technical assistance activities, and the evaluation of reform programs and capital projects in the Middle East and Africa.
