Dr. Nassar is an assistant professor of Management and Marketing at the college of Business Administration. He earned his doctoral degree (PhD.) from the Cardiff School of Management at the University of Wales-UK. He has been engaged with teaching since 1990, after completing a BSc. degree in Hotel and Tourism Management in the University of Alexandria, he joined the teaching faculty and started his academic career. He also gained his MSc. from the University of Alexandria and his MPhil. from the University of Wales/UK, in 2001. He is also a certified Tourism Destination Manager and Marketer from the George Washington University in the USA, 1997. Prior to lecturing, he gained industrial experience in both public and private sector organizations and personal life experience through traveling and working in the USA, Europe and the Gulf.
Dr. Nassar has developed a varied teaching profile at the levels of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching around the UK, Egypt, Dubai, Oman and Kuwait, he taught across different courses including Business Environment, Services Management, Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, International Marketing, Services Marketing, and Tourism Development and Planning. His teaching has involved a wide range of age groups (17-50), at part-time and full-time, to learners from a multitude of backgrounds, including international students and using a variety of teaching methods. He also taught across a range of modules including tourism, marketing research and information technology (HND/RML) and other marketing-related modules at the Welsh school of Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Management (WSHTLM) -University of Wales/UK.
