Professor John J. Neale joined the Carroll School faculty in 2013 after spending the previous six years as an assistant professor of operations and technology management at Boston University’s School of Management. At B.U. he taught the core undergraduate course in operations management and conducted research designed to bridge the gap between inventory theory and practice. His work on inventory models with nonstationary demand won the 2008 Wagner Prize for Excellence in Operations Research Practice. In 2009 he was awarded B.U.'s Broderick Prize for Excellence in Teaching
