Dr. Ertekin’s primary research interests center on consumer returns in retailing. His work helps retailers understand root causes of consumer returns and leverage returns to enhance customer relationship. He also has expertise in data analytics with large-scale datasets, retail operations, operations/marketing interface, and closed-loop supply chains. Dr. Ertekin has a number of papers related to his research at different stages of review process and is preparing several others for submission to peer-reviewed publications. He has been invited to present his works at professional and practitioner conferences in North America. He has also consulted for a national retailer.
