Her research interests include negotiation, employee development, career success, and work-family conflict. She was the recipient of the Waino Suojanen Research Award two years consecutively at Georgia State University. Her work has been published in numerous scholarly journals including Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Negotiation and Conflict Management Research, and Journal of Vocational Behavior. She is an active member of the Academy of Management and Southern Management Association, and she frequently consults with various organizations on negotiation and leadership.
