  • Cross-cultural experiential entrepreneurship education. How does culture affect a student’s disposition to learning about entrepreneurship or becoming an entrepreneur? How can an instructor tailor entrepreneurship education to the cultural disposition of her/his students?

    Innovation-driven business incubation. An incubator promotes the regional economy by sourcing new ventures that create jobs. While a new venture resides in an incubator, it is able to flourish in a nurturing ecosystem. However, once leaving an incubator, the likelihood of a company surviving may be no better than that of a company that never attended an incubator in the first place. Are incubators facing a quality vs. quantity dilemma? What can they do to meet sustainability challenges?

    Mobile healthcare innovation. Across the globe, owning a cell phone is more prevalent than having a permanent address. This creates opportunities for public health outreach and intervention that spans geopolitical and socioeconomic boundaries. M-Health serves as the “last mile” of effective healthcare, but only if upstream systems are smart.
