Dr. Malik’s research interests lie in the realms of financial accounting. In particular, she is interested in corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and financial and nonfinancial disclosures related research. Her research has been published in the Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management Control, and International Review of Business Research Papers. She has presented her papers at numerous conferences including American Accounting Association (AAA) Annual Meeting 2014, AAA Ohio Region Meeting 2014, AAA Public Interest Section Midyear Meeting 2014, AAA Mid-Atlantic Region Meeting 2014, AAA Annual Meeting 2013, AAA Northeast Region Meeting 2013, and 4th International Business Research Conference 2007.
