Research interests include financial institutions and their regulation as well as finance teaching pedagogy. She has presented her research at national and international conferences. Dr. Czyrnik wrote her doctoral dissertation on the Financial Modernization Act. She has continued her study of financial institution regulation with research on the recently passed Dodd-Frank Act. Her research has appeared in scholarly journals such as The Financial Review, Journal of International Finance and Economics, Advances in Financial Education, and Review of Higher Education and Self Learning.
