His current research includes international trade price analysis, transfer pricing, and capital movements through over- and-under-invoicing in international trade. His research has been published in leading journals, including the American Economic Review; Journal of Finance; Journal of Financial Crimes; Business Ethics Quarterly; Applied Financial Economics; International Trade Journal, Interfaces; and Tax Management: Transfer Pricing Report. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, a master’s degree in physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a baccalaureate degree in physics from Seoul National University in Korea.
