Expertise: Research interests include corporate finance issues such as corporate governance and capital structure, but I am also interested in banking, insurance, and accounting. My papers have appeared in a number of academic journals including the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Banking and Finance, and the Journal of Financial Research. I am an associate editor for the Journal of Financial Research, and I am a member of the Financial Management Association.
