His research focuses on management accounting, performance management systems, management control systems, corporate governance, corporate entrepreneurship, banking and financial crisis and Islamic banking and finance. He has presented his research in international conferences and published his work in international refereed journals such as Journal of management and governance. He also provides consultancy services in the field of corporate governance.
