Adjunct Professor Cybersecurity and Information Management

DEPARTMENT: Information Management

TERM: 2018 Fall Semester

JOB SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS:
Nichols College, a business-oriented, four-year College, is seeking a Cybersecurity and Information Management professional to join our adjunct/part time faculty team at Nichols College, to begin fall 2018. Responsibilities include teaching college-level courses, which may include on-campus or online classes. Prepare and teach courses within the business program including: Information Management and Analytics; Cybersecurity; and Digital Applications. Expected knowledge areas include data analytics, information management, and cybersecurity.
As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies. Adjunct faculty positions are reappointed on a course-by-course basis; this position is for the full 2018-2019 academic year.

The successful candidate is expected to have:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, management information systems, or related field.
  • 3-5 years industry experience expected.
  • 2+ years teaching experience including online is expected.
  • Professional certifications such as CIMP, CIP, CDP, CISSP, or CEH desirable.
