Position Summary:

The Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University in New York City is seeking to fill one tenure-track faculty position at the assistant or associate professor rank. For this position, we prefer candidates in the fields of Strategy and/or Entrepreneurship, with a special interest for, but not limited to, candidates who can teach Organizational Behavior. The appointment will be effective September 1, 2023. The position will remain open until filled.

The Sy Syms School of Business is the fastest growing school within Yeshiva University, with both undergraduate and graduate (e.g., MBA) programs. We are in an exciting growth period, with the faculty size set to grow significantly within the next five years and the number of graduate students expected to grow significantly over the next two years. Tenure-track members of the Strategy and Entrepreneurship Department include chair Dr. Sharon Poczter (prior faculty appointment: Cornell University), Dr. Pablo Hernandez-Lagos (prior faculty appointment: NYU-Abu Dhabi), and the Dean, Dr. Noam Wasserman (longtime professor at Harvard Business School).

Experience & Educational Background:

Applicants must warrant the appointment at the assistant or associate professor faculty rank with their academic and teaching qualifications and accomplishments. All candidates must have a PhD in business administration or a closely related field.

Skills & Competencies:

Candidates must demonstrate both strong research and teaching abilities.

Salary Range:

$130,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience
