Job Description

The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Information Systems at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with an expected start date of September 2023. Of particular interest are applicants with research portfolios focused on online communities, the future of work, or artificial intelligence. The position is available immediately and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.


Successful candidates will possess a PhD in Information Systems, Management, Computer Science, Management Science, or a related discipline. The degree must be completed before September 2023.

 

Candidates are expected to conduct research and publish in top journals as well as advise PhD students. Successful candidates are expected to teach in our graduate and undergraduate programs in Information Systems. The rank of the position will be dependent upon experience and qualifications. The university offers a competitive teaching load and excellent support for faculty research. 

 

Stevens’ offers Information Systems degrees at the graduate, undergraduate and PhD level. The MS in Information Systems is the largest program in the School of Business and consists of courses on digital innovation, business process innovation, IT strategy and IS architectures as well as concentrations in business intelligence and analytics, process and service innovation, and project management. Successful candidates are expected to participate in curricular development and the program’s robust series of public events besides the primary role of pursuing a strong research agenda.
