Non-resident full-time faculty position - Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Finance

Description
Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), located in Dubai UAE, the first accredited smart learning university in the region, is seeking exceptional scholars who are passionate about advancing innovative online education. Successful candidates will join a dynamic, learner-centric institution dedicated to excellence in smart learning. Faculty are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a fully online environment, contribute to the development of engaging digital course content, and maintain an active record of research and scholarly contributions in their specific field. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to research output including high-quality publications, innovative online pedagogy, and meaningful service to the academic community.

These faculty members reside outside the UAE and contribute to our mission entirely through digital platforms. Teaching is delivered fully online - whether asynchronous or synchronous - allowing them to engage with learners across borders. Non-Resident Faculty actively participate in faculty meetings, committees, and training sessions virtually, ensuring strong collaboration despite the distance. They are expected to produce impactful research in their specific areas, mentor students, and contribute to academic service, with all responsibilities carried out remotely. Community involvement is fostered through regular virtual participation in campus events and initiatives, enabling them to remain an integral part of HBMSU’s vibrant academic network while working from abroad.
Applicants must be familiar with online teaching platforms and methodologies and be dedicated to supporting HBMSU’s mission of transforming learning through technology and innovation. Candidates who have not yet completed their terminal degree must provide clear evidence of expected completion prior to the start date.

Highlights:
• Non-resident full-time positions
