The College of Business at Alfred University invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Finance beginning August of 2019. Our AACSB-International Accredited program includes a vibrant undergraduate business program which maintains a business administration/management focus while offering majors/minors in various business disciplines, in addition to a growing MBA program. The University values excellence in teaching and development of students as individuals, and offers opportunities for teaching and leadership in our online and satellite instructional programs. An active student managed investment fund provides opportunities for applied learning.

We are looking for a candidate who is teaching oriented with an established or emerging record of peer-reviewed publications who can fulfill AACSB Scholarly Academic qualifications. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Finance or specialization in Financial Economics preferred; ABD considered with evidence of completion within one year. Teaching responsibilities will be primarily undergraduate, with some courses in the MBA program. Candidates with an interest in non-traditional teaching methods (i.e. online) are especially attractive.

Salary will be commensurate with degree and experience; research and professional development support is available.
