Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Based on our Hamilton campus you will produce research of a high standard in the broad discipline of digital business, and actively communicate the impact of that research within the Division and beyond to attract external research funding. In addition to teaching a range of undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, you will supervise Honours, Masters and PhD students in their academic journey.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours a week) based on our Hillcrest campus. Salary will be in the range from $137,213 to $151,343 per year, salary will be dependent on the skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.

Ko wai koe? - Who are you?

You will have a PhD in Digital Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline with knowledge of Project Management and Business Analytics and Emerging Business Technologies. Expertise in Artificial Intelligence would be highly valued, but not essential.

You will apply your teaching skills, including the ability to lecture to large classes as well as conducting small group seminars and tutorials effectively. You will be motivated to be involved in all aspects of teaching and learning, including developing research informed material, and delivering content in innovative ways both face-to-face and online. You will be a supportive supervisor of graduate and postgraduate students and their research, alongside your own established and high-level record of impactful research, relevant to Digital Business.
