Before joining GW, He was a a visiting assistant professor in Operations Research at Carnegie Mellon University. He is the recipient of the Young Investigator/CAREER Grant from the Army Research Office, Department of Defense (2009-2013) and of the IBM Smarter Planet Faculty Innovation Award (2011).
