The School of Management at the University at Buffalo (State University of New York, SUNY at Buffalo) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor (10-month) position in Supply Chain and Operations Management to start Fall 2025.

Candidates are expected to pursue high-quality research and have a strong commitment to the development of the Department's academic programs at undergraduate, MBA, MS, and Ph.D. levels, in terms of teaching and leadership. Candidates are expected to contribute to university-wide interdisciplinary research and support the educational mission of the UB RENEW Institute and the Institute for Sustainable Transportation & Logistics.

In this role:
  • Applicants will ideally conduct research in the Supply Chain and Operations Management domain and publish in top-tier journals. Research methods include but are not restricted to operations research, stochastic modeling, empirical methods, data analytics, and machine learning.
  • Initial teaching duties will be introductory undergraduate and graduate operations management courses, and evidence of effective teaching experience is desirable.

For full consideration, applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, research statement, and teaching statement by October 31st, 2024. Applications will be considered until the position is filled.
